- Description
- NOTE: All responses to this IFB shall be mailed to Western Area Power Administration, P.O. Box 3700, Attn: J5620, Loveland, CO. 80539 3003. Western Area Power Administration has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and other resources necessary to complete this project. The work includes preparation for crack sealing and seal coats for substations located in Craig and Hayden Colorado, and Vernal, Utah. All work not shall commence until Notice to proceed is issued approximate June 1, 2004 and must be completed no later than July 30, 2004 Notice to proceed. The magnitude of this construction project is between $100,000 to $250,000. There will only be one award from this solicitation. Therefore, all Bidders must submit their bids on an "all or none basis". This solicitation will be issued on or about March 23, 2004. Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bonds shall be required. The closing date is on or about April 23, 2004. This proposed procurement is a Hub Zone Set-Aside. National American Industry Classification Code is 237310 and the applicable size standard is $28.5 million. The solicitation will be posted electronically at this web site. The specification and drawings will be issued hard copy. Requests for specifications and drawings must be submitted in writing by faxing 970 461-7377 or by email (gutierre@wapa.gov). Information hours are from 7:00am (MT) to 3:00pm (MT), Monday through Friday.
