- Description
- This is a notice of intent to negotiate with the Bell-Boeing Joint Program Office on an other than full and open competitive basis for the procurement of MV-22 Acquisition Logistics Support (ALS) for FY06. This effort continues the sustaining efforts necessary to support the management and administration of the MV-22 ALS program. Support includes planning and management; supportability analysis; training and training equipment; support equipment; facilities; computer resources; supportability test and evaluation; packaging, handling, storage and transportation of supplies; engineering and technical support; site/unit activation; phased support during interim operations; technical publications; logistics life cycle cost; age exploration; and all other logistics efforts, parts, equipment and services required to establish and maintain the support infrastructure for the MV-22 aircraft. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Bell-Boeing Joint Program Office is the designer, developer and sole producer of the V-22 aircraft, and is the only source with sufficient prerequisite knowledge and experience necessary to perform these efforts.
