****ATTENTION***FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION SHOULD BE DIRECTED To Karen Balch, Contracting Officer, or Vernita Acoff-Jones, Contract Specialist fax 256-876-5311, AMSAM-AC-LS-C, NSN: 1615-01-114-2153; P/N:145DS205-9, PRON AX4C022 6AX, NOUN: SUMP BODY, LUBE; Quantity: 9 each , applicable to BK: CH-47. Production leadtime with First Article (FA) is 9 each 360 days after contract award; without FA is 240 days and with alternate II is 300 days with delivery to Texarkana, TX 75507-5000 . This item is restricted to THE BOEING COMPANY, Cage Code 77272, and RUSSELL PLASTICS TECHNOLOGY COMPANY INC., Cage Code 07386, because this part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of th e part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and the manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All off erors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compet e for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo and looking under Qualification Procedures for Aviation Requirements. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date a nnotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation however; the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies.
