(70040) P/N T552; Detroit Diesel Corp. (72582) P/N P550552). This solicitation is for a possible Indefinite Quantity Type Contract with an estimated annual demand of 23,000 units to be delivered to various destinations with in CONUS for stock shipments only. Desired delivery schedule is 20,000 in 90 days with additional quantities of 1000 each every 30 days thereafter. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered. See Note: 26. The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on its issue date of March 24, 2004. The Small Business size standard is 750 employees. Specifications, plans or drawings are not available. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed three years. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
