Description

This combined synopsis/solicitation is hereby cancelled effective March 4, 2004. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items or services prepared in accordance the Format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) No. T04210. The solicitation clauses and provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code for this acquisition is 7379 and the NAICS Code is 541512. The Food and Drug Administration intends to issue a purchase order on a sole source basis to Captiva Software Corporation to acquire the following: Scan Level 1 & 1A Software Maintenance to include – (Quantity 1) NS-Test INPUTACCEL Test System , (Quantity 1) NS-10-AP 1A ANNUALIZED Server, (Quantity 1) N-VP-5-AP 1A ANNUALIZED Volume Pack, (Quantity 1) N-UCS 1A UNVERSAL Client – One Included W/Server, (Quantity 11) N-UCS 1A UNIVERSAL Client, (Quantity 1) N- ACSW-U 1A Unlimited Adobe Acrobat Capture, (Quantity 1) N-CAPCON 1A Capture Connect, (Quantity 1) N-EXDM 1A Documentum Export –One Included W/Server, (Quantity 1) N-IESW2D 1A Image Enhance with 2D and Extended Barcode, (Quantity 1) N-SCAN-1 Personal Scan Level - One included W/Server, (Quantity 14) N-SCAN-1 Personal Scan Level, (Quantity 1) N-EXOD 1A ODBC Export, and (Quantity 1) N-Custom 1A Custom Prime Module. The period of performance will be for one year. The following FAR Clauses shall apply to this solicitation: FAR Part 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, 52.212-3 Offerors Representations and Certifications, 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items. All responsible sources that can provide and meet the above requirement shall submit written quotations by mail or fax 301/827-7039. The solicitation is issued on a sole source basis because the equipment is proprietary to the contractor with no resellers.
