Description
Update: A request for proposal is expect to be released on, or about, 4 Mar 04. The rest of the notice is unchanged: The 11TH Contracting Squadron, Civil Engineering Support Flight intends to solicit proposals for maintenance and upgrade services for an underground storage tank (UST). A request for proposal is expected to be released on, or about, 4 Mar 04. The solicitation will be set-aside 100% for small business. All responsive small business offerors will be considered. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541620 and the small business size standard is $6,000,000.00. To be eligible for an award, contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). A contractor can contact the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423 or e-mail at ccr@dlis.dla.mil. More information on CCR can be found on their web site: https://www.ccr.dlis.dla.mil/ccr/scripts/index.html. The entire solicitation will be made available and can be obtained on the Electronic Posting System (EPS) Web Site at http://www.eps.gov. Paper copies will not be available. Only faxed or e-mailed proposals will be accepted, and must include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, name, address, cage code, DUNS number, and telephone number with its offer. Once posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to check for updates/changes to the solicitation. The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clauses and provisions may be viewed at the following web sites: http://farsite.hill.af.mil, http://www.arnet.gov/far/. Contract award will result from a Best Value evaluation, in accordance with FAR 15.3 and supplements. Evaluation criteria will be identified in the forthcoming request for proposal. The Government anticipates a firm-fixed-price type contract to result from the request for proposal. Selected schedule milestones are as follows and subject to change: Request for proposal released 25 Feb 04; Proposals due 3 Mar 04; Contract award 4 Mar 04.
