- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued unless requested. The solicitation number is H92241-04-R-0024, and is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The due date is 9 March 2004 no later than 2:00PMest. Proposals may be submitted via e-mail (spowell@tapo.eustis.army.mil) or by fax to (757) 878-4199. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-20. The associated NAICS code for this acquisition is 336413 and small business standard of 1000 employees. The U.S. Special Operations Command has a requirement for 106 each GH3001 ESIS LRUs (P/N: 501-1851-01), 124 each Detachable Configuration Modules (P/N: 501-1803-158), 45 each ADC 3000s (P/N: 501-1797-23), 45 each MAG 3000 Magnetometers (P/N: 501-1826-01), and 101 each GH-3000 SFD Clamps (P/N: 566-1814-04). The requested delivery is 16 weeks after Contractor?s receipt of contract. Delivery destination will be determined prior to award. FOB is Origin. Acceptance/Inspection is at Origin by Government QAR. These parts are manufactured by Goodrich Avionics Systems, Inc. (dba L-3 Avionics Systems), 5353 52nd Street, SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49512-9704. It is the Government's intent to award a contract on a sole-source basis to Goodrich Avionics, Inc. (dba L-3 Avionics Systems) on the basis that they are the manufacturer of this item and they retain all proprietary data on these items. There are no other known sources for these items. If parties show an interest as a result of this notice, they will be given due consideration as required by law. Note 22 is applicable to this notice. The following provisions and clauses are applicable to this procurement: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial; 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items (Offerors are instructed to complete this section and return with their quote); 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items; 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items; 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items; 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Order Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items; and 252.211.7003, Item Identification and Valuation.
