- Description
- NAICS Code 23822. Project: Replace Boilers/Chillers, Federal Building, Bismarck, North Dakota. Project No.: RND06786. Scope of Work: The project includes, but may not be limited to the following features: Replacement of existing boilers; replacement of existing chillers; build and paint partition, door and frame to be used as a wall; hazardous materials abatement; associated mechanical and electrical work. This acquisition is being procured under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and is NOT set-aside for small business. All interested parties are encouraged to submit a proposal. The estimated construction cost range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The evaluation criteria to be used in the evaluation of offers submitted under this solicitation will be: (1) Similar Experience and Past Performance, (2) Qualifications of Key Personnel, (3) Project Plan, (4) Price. The technical criteria, when evaluated, are of the same relative importance as price. The Solicitation Issue Date will be o/a 12/05/03. The date of Receipt of Proposals will be 01/05/04. The dates for the Site Visit and/or Pre-Proposal Conference will be o/a 12/23/03. Award is expected to take place o/a 02/03/04. Construction start date is expected to be one day after receipt of Notice to Proceed with completion NLT 09/01/04 for the boilers to be operational; NLT 04/01/05 for the chillers to be operational. All responsible sources will be considered. Only written requests will be honored. In addition, a non-disclosure form will need to be completed prior to GSA forwarding the drawings to the contractor. All requests must be received by COB 12/29/03, unless the solicitation date is extended. (0108) MODIFICATION: Project changed to Replace Chillers. Project no longer includes replacement of existing boilers. Revised specifications and drawings are available. The estimated construction cost range is between $250,000 and $500,000. Construction start date is expected to be one day after receipt of Notice to Proceed with completion NLT 04/01/05 for the chillers to be operational. The date of receipt of all requests is extended to COB 03/30/04. The date of Receipt of Proposals is extended to 04/13/04. Award is expected to take place o/a 05/13/04.
