Description
NA FULL FLOOR RECLAIM SYSTEM, QTY ONE (1) EACH The Marine Corps Logistics Base, Barstow, CA 92311, Contracting & Purchasing Division intends to make an award to Blast Coat Systems, Upland, CA. 8(A), Woman Owned Business. If no affirmative written responses are received, a contract will be awarded to the above referenced contractor without further notice. The contractor shall install a full Floor Reclaim System in The Media Blast Facility located at the Marine Corps Logistics Base, Maintenance Center (Yermo), Barstow, CA All responses must be in writing and received in this office by close of business 4:00 PM Pacific Standard Time, March 12, 2004. Responses can be faxed to (760) 577-6174, or responses can be mailed to Contracting & Purchasing Office, WHSE 8 Door 14A NEBO, Barstow, CA 92311.E-mail address is dessasuresp@barstow.usmc.mil Abrasive Recovery System must be designed to work with a variety of abrasive media to include, but not limited to, plastic, steel, garnet, aluminum oxide, and crushed glass. The Floor Recovery System Must Be Installed Above Ground With The Following Features: Floor Grating Rated @ 40,000 Pound Abrasive Media Elevator with Caged Access Ladder 26,900 C.F.M. Cartridge Dust Collector 200 CU. FT. Abrasive Storage Hopper Two (2) Six (6) CU.FT. Blast Post Assemblies 20? Air Wash Abrasive Separator Must Use Screw Drive Assemblies 60 F.P.M Air Flow Across Blast Booth Two (2) Service and Two (2) Technical Manuals Are Required Minimum Terminal Life Of Ten (10) Years The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, tools, materials (nuts, bolts, screws, misc.), and transportation, necessary to install the Floor Recovery System. No government parts, services, mater ials, facilities, or equipment are to be furnished to the contractor except those facilities that are available to the general public (restrooms, drinking fountains, pay telephone, etc.) The Contractor shall include training to be performed on site by trained and certified technicians. Times and dates will be coordinated between the contractor?s technician and an authorized government representative. SITE VISIT ? Offers or Quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed. Site-Visit is scheduled for 1:00 PM, March 10, 2004 at the Marine Corps Maintenance Center, Bldg 573, Yermo, CA 92311
