- Description
- Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Annex proposes to solicit for four (4) each 40 Ton, portable, self-contained, air conditioning units with an option for 16 additional units. Option quantity will be evaluated with the base quantity. Option quantities will be priced based on quantity and Fiscal Year (FY) in which the option may be exercised (FY05 through FY08 - depending on availability of funds). Maximum size shall not exceed 17 feet long X 10 feet wide X 9 feet high (not including intake plenum which is to be located on the opposite end of the unit from the controls). Total weight of the unit shall not exceed 14,000 pounds. Unit shall be capable of being lifted/handled by a crane and/or forklift. Complete specification package will be provided with the solicitation when issued. Units shall be priced for delivery FOB Destination to Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, VA 23709-5000. A firm-fixed price contract is anticipated. Response date for submission of offers will be established in the written solicitation. Requirement will be handled utilizing simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. NAICS Code 333415 applies with a size standard of 750 employees. Important Notice: DFAR 252.204-7004 REQUIRED CENTRAL REGISTRATION (CCR) applies. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Information regarding CCR may be found at www.ccr.gov.
