- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk, Detachment, Philadelphia intends to acquire Technical Support Services, for the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP). This procurement is to improve Operational Availability of shipboard and aviation equipment by applying or developing Readiness Based Sparing (RBS) techniques for application at both the unit and multi-echelon levels. Services will include analyzing and evaluating RBS models, performing supply evaluations using approved RBS models, executing RBS results, performing annual assessments of systems supported by RBS allowances, and supporting the evolutionary nature of the RBS process using new technological advances. It is intended that solicitation N00140-04-R-0315 will be solicited on an unrestricted basis. The resultant solicitation shall include a one-year base period of performance and contain provisions for four (4) additional, consecutive, twelve (12) month option periods, beginning 01 October 2004. It is anticipated that a cost plus fixed fee contract will be awarded as a result of the solicitation. The closing date for receipt of proposals will be established in the RFP. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code and size standard are 541330 and $23M, respectively.
