- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center - Panama City, FL, intends to award a contract on a sole-source basis to Valley Detroit Diesel, 5275 Eastgate Drive, San Diego, CA 92121. This contract will be for on-craft, in-water diagnostics and repair support, beyond using unit capabilities, for MTU 12V396TE94 engines and associated equipment, including electrical, electronic, and hydraulic components related to engine operation, and auxiliary equipment to include Northern Lights generators, engines and associated power supplies and distribution equipment. Valley Detroit Diesel is the local authorized MTU Friedrichshafen service representative. Use of an authorized service representative is required to maintain warranty status on affected engines and auxiliary equipment. Contract will be for a base year with options for up to four additional years. Services will be performed at Special Boat T eam Twelve, San Diego, CA. NAICS Code is 811310. SBA Size Standard is $6M. FSC is J028. NSWC Panama City plans on releasing the solicitation electronically only. Solicitations and any Amendments may be downloaded from http://www.ncsc.navy.mil/Contracts/ZTables/syntab.htm.
