- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to purchase the following items on a sole source basis from Lynuxworks, Inc., 855 Embedded Way, San Jose, CA 95138-1018. LynxOS 4.0, 5 each, c/c++ cross development tools, TotalDB graphical debugger and desktop manager, Windows Host Cross Motorola 550 0 target board, P/N A-ODEW-MP74-40; 5 each Visual Lynux Plug-In for LynxOS with 1 year annual support, P/N A-LVL-PPC4-210; 5 each TotalView Debugger with one year annual support, P/N A-TVN-PPC4-40; 2 each Spyker Performance Analysis Tool with one year annual support, P/N A-LSK-PPC4-101; 1 each Insure++ Code Coverage and Memory Reference Verification Tool with one year annual support, P/N A-LIP-PPC4-40; 1 each Xwindows and motif for LynxOS 4.0, P/N A-XM-PPC4-400. A sole source procurement is necessary because Lynuxworks is the only manufacture of the software and is there fore the only source to provide the software licenses on the proprietary software. Award is to be made under simplified acquisition procedures on an all or none basis. The closing date is 9 March 2004, 2:00 p.m. EST. Anticipated award date is 10 March 2004. Pricing should be FOB Destination to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, Virginia 22448-5100. THE GOVERNMENT SHALL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATION AS ALL ITEMS ARE IDENTIFIED IN THIS NOTICE. The Government will award a purchase order from this announcement to Lynuxworks, Inc. All responsible sources may submit their quote by e-mail in Microsoft Word format to XDS13@nswc.navy.mil. E-mail should reference N00178-04-Q-3015.
