- Description
- The US Army Medical Command Center for Health Care Contracting has a requirement, DADA10-03-R-0024, for hospital housekeeping services at General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital, Fort Leonard Wood, MO. The contractor will be required to provide all management, supervision, labor, training, transportation, equipment and materials necessary to provide these services in accordance with JCAHO, OSHA, and MEDCOM standards and regulations. The requirement consists of the main hospital to include surro unding buildings in the immediate area on the medical treatment facility. The estimated square footage is 361,860 square feet. The base contract period will be from October 1, 2004 through September 30, 2005 with four one-year option periods. The North American Industrial Code System (NAICS) code is 561720/$14M. This requirement will be solicited as a competitive 8(a) set-aside. Offerors must meet the required minimum Corporate Experience. Contractor Corporate Experience requires that the firm have ga ined experience in hospital housekeeping services as a result of being regularly engaged in the business of providing housekeeping services in healthcare/patient care environments (e.g., inpatient, outpatient, ancillary, surgical, and dental care). The mi nimum level of acceptable experience required is 24 months within the previous 36 months from the date initially established for submission of proposals. Periods of creditable performance may have been incurred at more than one site for at least 12 consec utive calendar months at each site and could not have been gained at two or more sites concurrently. The solicitation will be issued on or about April 12, 2004. A pre-proposal conference will be held, the date, time and location of which will be provided in the solicitation.
