- Point of Contact for this project is Richard D. Feller, (817) 886-1056. Work consists of construct barracks, soldier community bldg, company operations buildings, dining facility and addition to existing central chiller plant. Demolish existing buildings including lead paint and asbestos removal. Supporting facilities include utilities, electrical service, exterior lighting, fire protection and alarm systems, mass notification system, paving, walks, storm drainage and curbs and gutters. Force protection includes structural enhancements and laminated glass. This project will b e advertised UNRESTRICTED. Proposals from large business firms must comply with FAR clause 52.219-9 regarding the requirement for submission of a Subcontracting Plan. The Fort Worth District subcontracting goals are for specific percentages of the contra ctors total planned subcontract amount to be placed with the following: Small Business, 57.2%, Small Disadvantaged Business 10%, Women-Owned Small Business 10%, HUB Zone Small Business 3.0%, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business 3.0%, Reporting by Large Business 100%. NAICS Code is 236220. Small Business Size Standard is $28.5 Million. Estimated issue date is on or around 26 March 2004. Estimated Proposal Due date is on or around 27 April 04. Estimated Construction Cost Range is $25,000,000 & $50,000,000. The plans and specifications will be placed on Compact Disk (CD-ROM) and will be provided free of charge. Plans and spec will not be provided in a paper hard copy format. Notification of amendments shall be made through 3.5 inch diskette, C D-Rom and/or the Internet. However, the government reserves the right to use only the Internet as notification of any changes to this solicitation. It is therefore the contractors responsibility to check the following address daily for any posted changes to this solicitation.
