- Description
- The 43d Contracting Squadron at Pope AFB NC will be soliciting for a Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC). The MACC is an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for construction, repair, design, design-build, and renovation projects at Pope AFB and Fort Bragg NC. The performance period for this contract will be one base year with four one-year option periods and an award option bundle of four years. The intent is to award up to six contracts (8(a), HUBZone, and unrestricted contracts). In an agreement with the Small Business Administration, 8(a) contractors from the Southeast Region may participate in this action. MACC task orders may range from $5K to $2M with an anticipated yearly amount of $10M and a total program not-to-exceed amount of $90M. The minimum guaranteed amount is $2,500 per contract to be made during the base period of the contract. Task orders will be competed among those firms receiving IDIQ contracts as a result of this solicitation. Work to be performed under this contract will be within the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code Sector 23, Construction, size standard $28.5M. The solicitation will be issued on or about 1 Apr 04. The solicitation will be issued electronically and may be obtained through FedBizOpps, via the Internet. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. A site visit will be scheduled. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) program.
