- Description
- This is a synopsis for a construction acquisition (Reference FAR Part 36). The requirement is as follows: the contractor shall provide all labor, material, and equipment required for a Paving Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract to include a base period plus four one-year option periods to repair, replace, or construct new paved streets, parking areas, curbs and gutters, associated storm drains, taxiways, aircraft aprons, and runway surfaces. Work can include: repair, overlay, and striping of existing pavement; construction of new pavement, base sub-base, and striping; and rework of associated drainage systems, sodding, seeding, minor landscaping, and utilities associated with roadways, taxiways, aircraft aprons, runways, and parking areas at Patrick AFB and not to exclude Cape Canaveral Air Station FL. Solicitation No. FA2521-04-R-0019 is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The RFP will be available on or about 17 March 2004. The RFP issuance date is an estimate, not actual, and the actual date can be before or after the stated date. RFP will close on or about 26April, 2004. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Code (SIC) of 1611, business size of $28.5 million and a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 237310. This acquisition will be issued Unrestricted in accordance with the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. The RFP is available by electronic transmission only at http://www2.eps.gov/spg/ . Fax, telephone, written or email requests for this solicitation package will not be honored. Potential contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry to be eligible for award (See Internet site: http://www.ccr.dlsc.dla.mil) It is mandatory to obtain a DUNS number prior to registering in CCR by calling Dun & Bradstreet (1-800-333-0505). All responsible sources may submit a proposal and shall be considered for award. Award of this contract will be made utilizing the Price ? Performance Trade-Off (PPT) Techniques whereas both past performance and price will be evaluated and award may be made to other than the lowest price. The minimum guaranteed amount for the basic contract period of performance is $200,000.00. No minimum guaranteed amount will be given for the option periods. The estimated maximum amount for the life of the contract is $7.5 million. NOTE: FUNDS ARE NOT PRESENTLY AVAILABLE TO MAKE PAYMENTS UNDER A CONTRACT. THE GOVERNMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THIS SOLICITATION, WHETHER BEFORE OR AFTER RFP CLOSING, WITH NO OBLIGATIONS TO THE OFFEROR BY THE GOVERNMENT.
