- Description
- This is a Total Small Business Set Aside requirement for overhaul. The contractor shall provide all labor, facilities, equipment and all material to accomplish the overhaul, test, packing, preservation and packaging of the B-52 Rotary Pump. A firm fixed price contract is contemplated. The item and quantity is as follows: Item 0001: Overhaul NSN 4320-00-691-8601HS, P/N: 50444; Noun: Rotary Pump; Applicable to B-52 aircraft; Quantity: Basic Year, 45 each; Option I, 45 each; Option II, 45 each; Option III, 45 each; Option IV, 45 each. Item 0002: Data IAW DD 1423s. Item 0003: Over and Above Work. Deliveries are to be 5 each per month after receipt of order and reparables. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 15 Mar 2004. NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
