Description

Furnish medical care services (Physician Coverage) for the Acute Evaluation Unit (AEU) to beneficiaries of the VAMC, North Chicago, IL. Contractor shall furnish the services of board certified or board eligible physicians in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Room. The AEU is a Type IV Emergency Room. Hours are variable and may encompass any period of the day as required. However, the service of one (1) Emergency Room Physician is required per shift on a 24 hour, 365 day basis. Typical shifts are 8, 12 and 16 hours.
