- Description
- The objective of this 5-year contract is to provide engineering and technical services to support research activities in the structures laboratories at the Turner-Fairbank Highway Research Center. The contractor shall provide all necessary personnel to staff and maintain the structures laboratories located at TFHRC. Work under the contract shall include the performance of analytical studies, laboratory testing, field testing of highway bridge structures, finite element modeling, materials sampling and testing, research reports, and the publication of academic papers. Field testing and research at in-situ bridge locations, as well as work at outside research facilities shall also be performed under the contract. This solicitation will only be released and available electronically at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Accordingly, NO written, telephone, facsimile or e-mail requests for the solicitation package will be accepted. However, interested parties can register at the aforementioned site to receive procurement announcements/notifications of postings by e-mail. The Government anticipates issuing a Solicitation on or about 03/22/2004 by posting it on the website www.fedbizopps.gov. Estimated proposal due date is on or about 04/22/2004, with an estimated award date of 06/02/2004. Since this solicitation will only be available electronically, it will be the responsibility of interested parties to monitor FedBizOpps.gov web site for any solicitation amendments.
