Description

REVISED SYNOPSIS NOTICE: The Federal Bureau of Prisons intends to award a contract for the provision of comprehensive medical services for the Federal Correctional Institution in Ashland, Kentucky. It is the intent of the Government to make a single award to an offeror who can provide all deliverables, to include inpatient/outpatient facility services, inpatient/outpatient physician services, and on-site institution services. Offerors are encouraged to submit comprehensive proposals providing all listed requirements. Offerors who propose less will be evaluated accordingly. The contract type is a firm, fixed price, indefinite delivery/requirements contract. The contract period shall consist of a 12 month base period with four 12 month option periods for renewal. The estimated quantities are as follows: Base Year - 50 inpatient days and 60 outpatient visits; Option Year 1 - 51 inpatient days and 61 outpatient visits; Option Year 2 - 52 inpatient days and 62 outpatient visits; Option Year 3 - 53 inpatient days and 62 outpatient visits; Option Year 4 - 54 inpatient days and 64 outpatient visits. Due to the volume of information, quantities of outpatient institution services will be provided in the solicitation document. The solicitation will be available on or about March 3, 2004 and will be distributed solely through this website. Hard copies of this solicitation will not be available as the site provides downloading instructions. All future information concerning this solicitation, including amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site; therefore, interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most current information concerning this solicitation. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov . The anticipated date of receipt of proposals in on or about April 9, 2004. This solicitation is unrestricted and all responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal for consideration
