- Description
- The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) intends to award a commercial sole source purchase order to Affymetrix, Inc., Santa Clara, CA 95051 pursuant to 41 U.S.C.253(c)(1)--Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This procurement is for the purchase of the following: 1) 3 each - #900493 Expression 3'-Amplification One-Cycle Target Labeling Kit; 2) 1 each - #900494 Expression 3'-Amplification Two-Cycle Target Labeling Kit; 3) 1 each -#900367 GeneChip Human Genome U133A Array - 30 pack; 4) 1 each - #900413 Mouse Expression Array 430A, 30 Pack, GeneChip; 5) 2 each - #900405 Rat Expression Array 230A, 30 Pack, GeneChip. The purchase of these reagents and GeneChips from Affymetrix is to maintain consistency in the research project. All responsible sources may respond by submitting a written narrative statement of capability within 15 days of date of notice to Dee Lunney at the above address for consideration by the agency. Response must include detailed technical information and other technical literature demonstrating the ability to meet these requirements. Responses shall also include itemized pricing that is sufficient to make a determination that competition is feasible. If no affirmative responses are received within 15 days of this notice to determine whether a qualified source is more advantageous to the Government, an order will be placed with Affymetrix, Inc. The NAICS Code/Size is 325414/500EM. This procurement is to be processed using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. There is no solicitation package available.
