- Description
- The U.S. Department of Commerce, NOAA has a requirement for Telephone, Network, and TV Cabling upgrades for the NOAA Ship THOMAS JEFFERSON, a 208 foot, 45 ft beam (molded) vessel. Vessel's homeport is Norfolk, VA. All work will be performed at vessel?s home port. The performance period will be starting on or about June 25, 2004 and shall be completed on or before July 21, 2004. All work shall be performed in accordance with detailed specifications and NOAA standard specifications MOC-300-3, General requirements for electrical/electronic items to be provided with the solicitation. Vessel will be available for inspection from March 19, 2004 thru April 4, 2004 at vessel?s homeport, Norfolk, VA. Arrangements for inspection can be made by contacting the Port Engineer, Neil Lamartin at (757)441-6369. At the present time, this acquisition will be issued as a RFQ under full and open competition procedures. To be eligible for award, offerors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR): www.ccr.gov and obtain (and provide with the offer) a DUNS number by calling 1-800-333-0505. All interested parties should email Margaret.a.rankin@noaa.gov with their company information. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. Copies of the solicitation will be available on or about March 19, 2004 and will be provided at www.fedbizopps.gov.
