Description
This is a synopsis of a requirement for ship repair. This is request for quotation (RFQ) number DTCG80-04-Q-3FAB62. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336611 and the size standard is 1000 employees. The requirement is for the following: Contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, parts, services, and competence to perform the following: (1) Clean Sewage and Grey Water Collection and Holding Tanks, (2) Clean and Repair Sewage and Grey Water Piping System, (3) Preserve Forward Peak Compartment, (4) Preserve Forward Peak Compartment, (5) Preserve and Disinfect Potable Water Tanks, (6) Renew Deck Drains, (7) Insulate and Preserve AFT Steering and Forward Sound Locker Spaces, (8) Perform Ultrasonic Testing, (9) Repair Aluminum Mast, and (10) Renew Floating Deck Galley and Mess deck. The performance is 1 July 2004 and shall be completed in twenty-one (21). Place of performance is at the vessel?s homeport of St. Petersburg, FL. The government will award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The proposed solicitation will be issued as a Small Business Set Aside. Loans are available under the DOT Short-term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
