- Description
- The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is requesting quotations from SMALL BUSINESS vendors for Plastic Trash Liners, Clear Polythlene, 40” Wide x 48” Long (Gusset 23.17), 45 to 50 Gallon Bags, .002” MIL Thick (125 bags per box), BEP Stock Number 2L001034 (a sample may be available upon faxed request). The simplified acquisition procedures set forth in FAR Parts 12 and 13 shall be used. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This procurement is 100% set aside for SMALL BUSINESSES (see numbered note 1). The applicable NAICS (formally SIC) code 326111 and the associated small business size standard is 500 employees. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is RFQ-04-0361. The total quantity is 500 boxes (125 bags per box). Delivery shall be made within 30 days after receipt of purchase order. Delivery terms are F.O.B. Destination to the BEP Landover Warehouse Facility at 3201 Pennsy Drive, Landover, MD 20785. The resulting purchase order shall be firm fixed price. The basis for award shall be quality, price and delivery. All interested SMALL BUSINESSES are requested to SUBMIT A WRITTEN QUOTATION, which will be considered by the agency. Quotations may be made on a SF 1449 or on company letterhead. Quotations shall include the RFQ number, the proposed unit price, the proposed extended price, any prompt payment discount terms, company name, point of contact, business address, phone number, fax number, tax identification number, DUNS number and size status (i.e., small business, disadvantage business or woman owned business). If this item is available under GSA Contract please provide the contract number and expiration date. FAX ALL QUOTATIONS TO 202-874-3135, Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP), Office of Procurement, MIT Division, Attention: Ms. Rosher Gilbert, DUE BY MARCH 17, 2004, close of business 6:00 p.m. Questions related only to this notice should be faxed no later than March 08, 2004.
