Description

Food and related services. The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, materials, supplies and equipment (except as otherwise provided), and shall plan, schedule, coordinate all cafeteria and vending machine services. Services include janitorial, trash removal and preventative maintenance on all Government owned equipment located at the facility. The contractor will be responsible for obtaining all permits, licenses and approvals to operate the facility. The variety, menu pricing and appearance of food shall be consistent with approved food service industry standards for comparable local food facilities. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government. Technical proposals will be evaluated in accordance with the following factors listed in descending order of importance: Past Performance; Experience; Menu Cycle and Variety/Pricing; Food Court Services; Financial Considerations; and Oral Presentation. The contract will be awarded to the offeror providing the most advantageous alternative to the Government, consistent with the solicitation. However, the award will be made to the State Licensing Agency (SLA) for the Blind should they submit an offer that is determined to be within the competitive range.
