- Description
- The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) intends to award a commercial item purchase order for lodging, meals, light refreshments, meeting space, and audiovisual equipment for the NIEHS Director's Leadership Retreat to be held May 17-19, 2004. There will be approximately 65 attendees. The meeting location must be no fewer than 60 miles and no more than 70 miles from Research Triangle Park, NC. Following are requirements: Non-commissionable rate, no third party planner; meeting room must accommodate up to 45 people in a "U shape" and remain set up throughout the meeting period. There must be a minimum of 36 inches between each person to accommodate computing materials and documents. Meal activities cannot occur in the meeting room. There must be common areas for breaks. The facility must provide solid block walls to eliminate outside distractions and ensure privacy. Facility must provide free highspeed internet access in the meeting room and guest rooms. Facility must provide wireless internet access in the meeting room. Facility must offer capability for multi-image slide shows and video presentations, computer generated graphics, stage and set lighting; and audio-video recording, wired podium wired desk mic, wireless lavalier, 16 channel mixer, overhead projector, and screen the meeting room. An AV technician must be available during the meeting. Facility must provide hyper allergen air filtration system throughout the facility. Facility must be handicap accessible and provide wheel chairs. This is to be issued under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) package - ESQ40105 - will be issued on or about 3/19/04 and will be due on or about 3/30/04.
