- THIS PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE, FA4600-04-R-0009, HAS BEEN CANCELLED IN ITS ENTIRETY EFFECTIVE 2 MARCH 04. This is a pre-solicitation notice for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations document (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes only the pre-solicitation notice; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will be issued on or around February 20, 2004. Solicitation number FA4600-04-R-0009 is being issued as a Request For Proposal (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-18. All applicable provision and clauses are included in the actual solicitation. This electronic announcement constitutes the only pre-solicitation notice being issued. This procurement is set aside 100% for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561410, and the small business size standard is $ 6,000,000. The Government intends to issue a firm fixed price purchase contract of 1 Base Year (01 April 2004 to 30 September 2004) with 4 Option Years for the following service: Medical Transcription service. Please reference solicitation # FA4600-04-R-0009 on all correspondence. All proposals must be received by the 55 Contracting Squadron, 101 Washington Square, Offutt AFB 68113-2107 by March 4, 2004 at 12:00 pm (CST). Proposals must be valid until 30 April 2004.
