- U. S. Army Field Support Command intends to award a firm-fixed price contract with some Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity clins for grounds maintenance at Blue Grass Army Depot, Ky. Contractor will be required to provide all supervision,labor, personnel, equipment, transportation, material and services necessary to perform Grounds Maintenance services for a base period of 12 months plus four 1 year option periods. Three levels of maintenance shall be provided for various lots located on Blue Grass Army Depot, as well as delivery order requirements for unscheduled services. This will be a small business set-a-side with NAICS code 561730 and size standard of $6 million. A site visit will be offered. The RFQ will be posted to the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition Business Website, http://acquisition,army.mil on or about March 20, 2004 with opening 30 days from issuance. All contractors who provide goods/services to the Department of Defense (DOD) must be registered in the Central Contractors Register (CCR). If you are not registered in CCR, you cannot be awarded a DOD Contract. You may register via the Internet at http: //www.ccr.gov. Interested firms are invited to submit Proposals after this solicitation is posted to the web. It will be the responsibility of the contractors to check these websites for the issuance and any changes to the solicitation. No hard copies ar e available.
