- Description
- Provide Architect/Engineer services for an open-ended multi-discipline contract for Alaska VA Healthcare System and Regional Office (AVAHSRO) in Anchorage, AK. Provide comprehensive A/E services for the design of various in-house and construction projects to include the Main Clinic, Homeless Veterans Service or Transistional Housing Units. These services may include, but are not limited to full architectural, electrical, mechanical, fire protection, interior design and health planning services. The scope of work may include the preparation of drawings, specifications, cost estimates, construction period services, site visits and miscellaneous reports. The contract will be for a base year with two option years. Maximum individual task order limitation is $75,000. This is a request for SF 254 and SF 255s only. Area of consideration is limited to a 50-mile radius of the AVAHSRO. A/E must have an existing design production office within the geographical limitation. NAICS Code 541330 applies. Numbered Notes 1 and 24 apply. The small business size standard is $4,000,000 in annual gross revenues averaged over the past three years. The A/E selection criteria shall include the following elements, though not necessarily in the order of importance or merit: (a) professional qualifications; (b) specialized experience and technical competence in the type of work required; (c) previous experience on VA contracts and other Government agencies in terms of cost control , quality of work, and compliance with work schedules; (d) capacity to accomplish the work in the required time; and e) AutoCAD capabilities. Disciplines and capabilities must be represented within the same firm or with consultants that regularly work with the primary firm. Firms meeting the requirements described in this announcement are invited to submit two (2) copies of their SF 254 and SF 255s, along with a copy of their representations and certifications, no later than 4:00 pm (pst)on March 22, 2004, addressed to Sandra Magers (90C), AVAHSRO, 2925 DeBarr Road, Anchorage, AK 99508.
