- Description
- The Bureau of the Census intends to negotiate and award a sole source purchase order, utilizing simplified acquisition procedures (under FAR 13.5) to Solucient, 1800 Sherman Avenue, Evanston, IL for abstract medical records data on magentic tape for 45 specific hospitals. The discharge data required is uniform hospital discharge data set (UHDDS) data. The 48 hospitals scientifically selected by the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) staff are located throughout the United States and are clients of Solucient. Because of NCHS confidentiality requirements, the names of the individual hospitals cannot be provided. The intent of this synopsis is for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive bids; no solicitation will be issued.
