Description
The purpose of this announcement is to cancel this solicitation in its entirety. This requirement will be re-solicited at a later date. This announcement is for an 8(A) small business set aside acquisition. The U.S. Department of State (DOS) intends to negotiate and award an 8(A) contract for locks and lock hardware (brand name only). The solicitation (S-LMAQM-03-R-0095) will be available electronically on the FedBizOpps website by December 12, 2003. All questions regarding this solicitation must be received (in writing only (email preferable), please ? not by phone) no later than January 9, 2004. Telephonic requests for solicitation will not be accepted. Proposals will be due approximately 45 days after issuance of solicitation. Complete proposal instructions are listed in the solicitation. The NAICS for this award is 332510. The government intends to acquire commercial items using FAR Part 12. Award will be made based on pricing and past performance. Award will be made to the bidder whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is the most advantageous to the Government. All questions pertaining to this solicitation must be in writing to Patsy Patten and may be submitted by email to PattenPJ@state.gov. The solicitation will be issued via the Internet on www.fedbizopps.gov. No hard copies will be issued. It is the offeror?s responsibility to monitor the Internet site for the release of the solicitation and amendments. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments. Proposals must be received no later than 4:00 P.M.
