- (I) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in sub-part 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only request for quote; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (II) Reference Number FA487704Q0174 is being issued as a request for quotation. (III) This RFQ incorporates clauses and provisions in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 97-16. (IV) This requirement is being synopsized as a Small Business Set-aside under Standard Industrial Classification code 3561 and North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 333911, size standard 500 employees. (V) Line Item 0001: Explosion Proof Centrifuge which includes: 100lbs maximum dry weight capacity; Basket-30 inches diameter X 16 inches high; RPM 1750; G-Force 1200; Wetted Surfaces--304 Stainless Steel; Drive system—electro hydraulic; Controls—pneumatic; Pneumatic safety interlock system; Timer—Pneumatic 0-10 minutes; Starter—mounted in explosion proof box; Motor—5 hp (explosion proof); Pneumatic requirement 80 psi/1 cfm; 230 volts/60cycle/3 phase; NEMA-Class 1—Group D; Skid mounted with leveling pads; Stainless steel collection tank for solvents removed; Explosion proof sump pump to remove solvents; Explosion proof control panel for centrifuge and pump. Contractor must provide an onsite technician to install and train personnel (VI) N/A (VII) Delivery by 3 May 2004. Place of delivery: 355 CES Bldg 5227, Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ 85707. FOB POINT IS DESTINATION. (VIII) Provision 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerers- Commercial Items applies. (X) Offerors are required to submit a completed copy of 52.212-3 Offerors Representations and Certifications- Commercial Items with its offer. (XI) Clause 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions- Commercial Items and any addenda the clause applies to this acquisition. (XII) Clause 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Require to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items applies to the award document. (XVI) Quotations are due to the 355th Contracting Squadron, 3180 S. Craycroft Rd. Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ 85707, by 5 March 04, 4 p.m. local time. Quotations can be faxed to 520-228-5462.
