Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and with an intent to award on a sole source basis. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number, N00259-04-T-0017 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 541990, Size: 6.0. This procurement is a small purchase, unrestricted solicitation. The contractor shall provide CLIN 0001: Non-personal Services for Rapid employment of N-Acetylcysteine Treatment for Otologic Recovery (REACTOR), a Prospective, Multicenter, Randomized, Double-blind, Parallel Group, Placebo-controlled Study Assessing the Efficiency of the Nutritional Supplement N-Acetylsteine Treatment of Acute Acoustic Trauma for the period of March 8, 2004 through May 1, 2004 to include: 1) Collect required regulatory documents from each site, 2) Finalize training schedules for study sites, 3) Schedule and provide training for study conduct at all study sites, 4) Attend initial weapons training event (TE), 5) Evaluate first study logistics. First study report for first study site training event is May 1, 2004., QTY: 01, Unit of Issue: LOt. The following FAR and DFAR clauses and provisions are applicable and will be incorporated into the solicitation by reference, and will be available in full text upon request. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2001-19.
