- This is a notice of intent of the Office of Information, Cleveland Business Center, Cleveland, Ohio to negotiate single source with George S. Hall, Inc. for professional services to move existing and install temporary cooling units for the Office of Information, Silver Spring Field Office Computer Facility. This procurement is being conducted under authority FAR 6.302-1, Sole Source award in the case of a follow-on contract. This contractor is the current maintenance contractor for the entire cooling system at Silver Spring OIFO, and the procurement required is an emergency situation. The government believes that only one responsible source can provide the services that will satisfy the agency requirements. Other persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by March 3, 2004. This is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Contracting Officer not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. All inquiries must be submitted in writing; telephone inquires will not be accepted, nor responses received after March 3, 2004.
