- Description
- The U.S. Agency for International Development Mission to Pakistan (USAID Pakistan) is seeking competitive proposals from firms or organizations to provide services in support of USAID/Pakistan's program and project monitoring and evaluation responsibilities,in all four provinces of Pakistan. The previous synopsis is modified to include U.S. as well as Pakistani entities as eligible to compete for indefinite quantity type contracts to provide these services. Projects currently funded by USAID Pakistan are in the areas of Education, Health, Governance and Economic Opportunity (e.g. Microfinance). The proposal due date in this notice is approximate and will be superceded by the date specificed in the solicitation. At the time of the initial synopsis, a competition between local sources (entities already doing business in Pakistan) was planned. Since then, there has been a change in planned contract type and estimate of the requirement; these changes increase the overall value of this procurement above the USAID threshold for local procurement. Therefore, proposals from both U.S. and Pakistani organizations may be submitting in response to the the request for proposal (RFP) to be posted March 3, 2004 on this website.
