- Description
- The Fleet Industrial Supply Center, Jacksonville Florida attends to award a Firm-Fixed Price, requirements based contract with 4 option years. This procurement is being processed under the authority of the test Program for commercial items, “Section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohn Act of 1996” and FAR Part 13.5. , And awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for commercial items IAW FAR part 12. The following is required: Bottled Drinking Water (5 gallon containers) delivery, empty bottle pick up, water cooler rental and disposable drinking cups to Jacksonville, Florida and surrounding area to Include; NAS Jacksonville, Naval Station Mayport and Naval Fuel Depot, Blount Island and Kings Bay Submarine Base. The government intends to award a single, firm-fixed price, requirements base with 4-year option contract for the acquisition estimated quantity of 5500 bottles drinking water per year to be delivered bi-weekly (at minimum) to various building locations stated in solicitation. The base year contract shall begin 01 October 2004 and end 30 September 2005. The succeeding year’s option shall be requirements based. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 312112 and the Business size standard is 500. The solicitation N68836-04-T-0136 will be posted on 11 March 2004 and close at 4 P.M. EST, 12 April 2004. All interested vendors are encouraged to respond via www.fedbizopps.gov once solicitation is posted. Only vendors registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) IAW DFARS 252.204-7004, will be considered for contract award. See www.ccr.gov for information on registration.
