- NSN: 5998013487545PR P/N: 101E1466G2 NOUN: Circuit Card Assembly The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 30 days of the solicitation issuance will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1), Justification: Supplies required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. ITEM DESCRIPTION: The circuit card is a flat electric plug-in wiring board, multilayer board. Function: The circuit card is used in assembly of the digital electric control (D.E.C.) which controls all variable engine parameters and provides engine cycle counting and engine monitoring. The dimensions are 7 inches in width and 8 inches in length. The material consists of electrical wiring type 24, aluminum, adhesive, type I Gray and Type II (3145), fiber board, and resistors MIL-R-55182. Applicable to: F110 Destination: FB2039 Best Estimated Qty is 44 each. Quantity ranges will be solicited. Ranges will be 20-40, 41-61 and 62-82. Requirements can change prior to award, therefore, contractors should propose each range. Due Date: June 2005 Qualification requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. The solicitation will contain instructions for obtaining further information on this requirement. The qualification requirements for this item were established prior to 19 Oct 1984 and the requirements of FAR 9.202(A) do not apply. These qualification requirements apply to line item(s) 0001. The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 12 March, 2004. The response date will be approximately 30 days after the issuance. The anticipated award date will be 30 April 2004. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation will identify the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firm listed. Note: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation. Note: Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government’s requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
