Description

PROVIDE CONTINUED NEW EQUIPMENT FIELDING SUPPORT FOR III CORPS and its Major Subordinate Commands (MSCs) at Fort Hood, Texas and in overseas locations. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and nego tiate only with the incumbent contractor, Blackhawk Management Inc. under the authority of FAR 6.302. The Government intends to modify the current contract, DAKF48-02-C-0002, on a sole source basis to incorporate a two-month option for the period 1 April through 31 May 2004 to provide the III Corps G3 with uninterrupted service both CONUS and OCONUS to allow adequate time for the current competitive RFP, DABK15-03-R-0014, to be awarded. In accordance with FAR 6.302-2(b)(2), this course of action minimizes duplication of cost and effort associated with soliciting and awarding a separate interim (two-month) contract to maintain uninterrupted services at Fort Hood and overseas locations. The NAICS Code is 561210/$6 Million, FSC R706. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals.
