Description
Provide transcription for medical dictation for the VA Puget Sound Health Care System for the period of June 1, 2004 through May 31, 2005 with Option to Renew for Four (4) one year periods. Contractor is to furnish all space, personnel, supervision and equipment required to transcribe medical reports according to VA established format and be capable of transmitting transcribed material within specified turn-around times (4 to 24 hours), 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to the VA. Dictation will be taken from Dictaphone Corporation’s Enterprise Express Voice System and Enterprise Express Text System. Contractor shall have a remote digital dictation system accessible by a toll-free telephone line and have the capability to interface with the VA's VISTA system to transmit reports via telecommunication lines. Total estimated annual line count is 4,041,000 lines (65 character line). This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business. NAICS is 561410, with a small business size standard of $6 million in revenues. The contract will be subject to the Service Contract Act and the place of performance is unknown. All transcription work and all transcriptionists who perform work as part of the proposed contract must be located within the United States. Offers will be evaluated on technical capability, management approach and past performance. Solicitation documents will be available electronically March 10, 2004 with proposals due March 31, 2004. Solicitation documents may be obtained electronically at http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov. All amendments will be posted at the website. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining all documents and amendments and are strongly encouraged to register for notifications at the website. Proposals are due 3/31/04 at 4:00 PM (C.O.B.) at the VA Puget Sound Health Care System, Bldg 143 – Room 1, 9600 Veterans Drive, Tacoma, WA 98493-5000.
