Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of Test Administrator services for the Federal Medical Center and Prison Camp, located in Lexington, Kentucky. The contract type is a firm-fixed price, requirements contract. The contractor shall be responsible for administering and scoring the following: ABLE, SABE, CASAS, practice GED, official GED, and other educational tests deemed necessary to assess academic and ESL skills of inmate students. Qualifications include, at a minimum, a Bachelor’s degree in Education from an accredited college or university, and no less than one year of experience in educational test administration. The contract shall consist of a 12 month base period and four consecutive 12 month option periods for renewal. The estimated quantities for the base year and each option period are 312 four hour sessions per year. The contractor will be expected to perform approximately 24 hours per week, excluding federal holidays. The solicitation will be made available on or about December 8, 2003 and will be solely distributed through this website. This site provides all downloading instructions to obtain copy of the solicitation. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be posted through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information regarding this solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of offers is January 8, 2004. This procurement is totally set-aside for small business and all responsible small business sources are invited to submit a quote for consideration.
