- Description
- The Securities and Exchange Commission intends to negotiate on an other than full and open competitive basis with Metadata Management Corporation (MMC), 410 Pine Street SE, Suite 320, Vienna, VA 22180 for validation and maintenance of the SEC?s enterprise architecture (EA) and support of the SEC Enterprise Repository (SECEAR) and the DesignBank, metadata management repository. DesignBank is a repository for defining, storing, accessing, managing, disseminating, relating and integrating information about the SEC?s business, data, applications, and technology. SECEAR is a tool for gathering, managing, and organizing Enterprise data into useful information for reporting and analysis. As the developer of DesignBank and SECEAR, MMC has provided SEC with a standards based, state-of-the-art metadata repository management system and enterprise architecture repository that is based on user requirements and standards from both government and commercial. MMC?s knowledge and expertise with DesignBank and SECEAR are instrumental to SEC?s success in documenting the SEC?s architecture information. Metadata Management shall provide extensive knowledge and understanding of the source code and structure of the DesignBank and be capable of performing updates and maintenance on the SECEAR and SEC DesignBank.
