Description
The requirement is for the contractor to administer, coordinate, and monitor 300 on-site visits for Theater and Musical Theater grant applicants to the National Endowment for the Arts. For grant applications in Theater and Musical Theater, the on-site reporting process is the primary tool for determination of both artistic merit and artistic excellence. All on-site reporting activities are carried out by theater and musical theater professionals. The on-site reporting process is an integral part of Theater and Musical Theater?s grant application review. In the application process, on-site reports assist panelists in assessing the ability of a theater or musical theater organization to carry out projects proposed for funding. Careful administration, monitoring, and coordination of on-site report activities are critical to the success of the agency?s peer panel review process in Theater and Musical Theater. The work will involve five areas: Management of On-site Reporter Pool; Contact with Endowment Grant Applicants to Theater and Musical Theater; On-site Report Assignments and Oversight; Liaison with Endowment staff; and Reporter Payment/Record Keeping. The successful contractor must have knowledge of the Theater and Musical Theater fields, as well as demonstrated planning and organizational skills. Options are included for 300 additional on-sites in each of four option years. The solicitation will be posted on Fedbizops on approximately March 10, 2004 with proposal due 30 days after issuance.
