- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 13 and the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This acquisition will be solicited to Coronet Technology, Springfield VA 22151, as a sole procurement. The following description of the requirement follows: 5 ea. Video Encoder CDX150-1T-Option-04 4xDS1 (MPEG-1&2) w. CSU (extended temperature) and 5 ea. Video Decoder CDX150-1R 4xDS1 (MPEG-1&2)w. CSU will be used as replacement parts for the Tactical Video Network (TVN) at the Marine Air Ground Task Force Training Command. The 1T option withstands temperatures of up to 74 degrees Celsius. Necessary to operated in extreme desert conditions. This announcement constitutes the solicitation; A SEPARATE WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number RFQ N00244- 04-T-0412 applies. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-06 and DFAR Change Notice 20020314. This acquisition is being acquired for the Marine Air Ground Task Force Training Command at Twentynine Palms, CA. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Clause 52.212-4, applies as well as the following FAR clauses: 52.219-1; 52.219-14; 52.222-21; 52.222-26; 52.222-35; 52.222-36; 52.222-37; 52.247-34. Clauses 52.212-5; DFARS clause 252.212-7001; 252.225-7001; 252.225-7012, FAR 52,212-3; 252.204-7004 applies. IMPORTANT NOTICE: DFARS 252.204-7004 "Required Central Contractor Registration" applies to all solicitations issued on/or after 06-01-98. AWARD CRITERIA: Award will be made upon price reasonableness determination, contractor determination of responsibility with the meaning of FAR Part 9, and acceptance to the provisions set forth herein.
