- ESTIMATED ISSUE DATE: 10 Mar 04. ESTIMATED COST RANGE: The magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. PROJECT: AJXF 02-9000 consists of providing all plant, labor, equipment, and materials and performing all operations necessary to provide Modernization of HVAC system at Aerial Port, Bldg 3623 Andrews AFB. The NAICS code is 235110. The work includes demo existing ceilings in building and replace with new. Remove existing building HVAC system and install new HVAC. Total contract performance period is 180 calendar days from date of award. The proposed procurement will be processed as an Competitive Small Disadvantaged Business. The resultant award will be a Firm Fixed Price Contract. Utilizing past performance trade-off procedures, award will be made to the offeror providing the overall best value to the Government. Evaluation criteria will be cited in Section M of the solicitation. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low offeror. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. An offer guarantee will be required when requested by the Contracting Officer. Paper copies of the solicitation and supporting documents will not be provided as these documents, which include the solicitation, blueprints and specifications, can be downloaded from the Electronic Posting System (EPS) at http://www.eps.gov and should be available on or after 10 Mar 04. It is the responsibility of the contractor to download a copy of the solicitation and other supporting documents from the web site listed above. When a solicitation is downloaded, please notify Thad Ramsey at thad.ramsey@andrews.af.mil so that your company?s name may be placed on a list of prospective offerors. Technical questions regarding the solicitation must be e-mailed to thad.ramsey@andrews.af.mil and kerry.callahan@andrews.af.mil no later than ten (10) days prior to closing to ensure proper and timely responses. Please ensure that your firm is registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). The web site is www.ccr2000.com. If your firm is not registered, you will not be able to download the solicitation. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract, it does not restrict the Government in its ultimate acquisition approach, nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs.
