Description
BUILDING SITE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT SEEKS TO ACQUIRE SITE TERRE HAUTE, IN The United States General Services Administration (GSA) will conduct an investigation of potential sites for the leased construction of a United States Courthouse in Terre Haute, IN. As part of this site investigation, GSA is seeking expressions of interest to obtain a ”no cost purchase option” assignable to a future developer. GSA’s intention is to secure a site that shall guarantee the assignable right of ownership to a future developer for the construction of a leased Government facility. The donation of a site will also be considered. Building sites submitted for consideration shall meet the following INITIAL minimum requirements: • The site shall contain a buildable area having a minimum of 90,000 sq.ft., not to exceed 135,000 sq.ft. • The site shall be situated within or contiguous to the area bounded by: Cherry Street on the North Walnut Street on the South 9th Street on the East 1st Street on the West Owners of parcels aggregating less than the size of the site specified, but to which abutting parcels may be added to produce a site of the required size, are encouraged to offer such properties for inspection. Sites, which may be donated, are solicited as well as sites, which are for sale. Offers should be submitted in letterform and include an accurate description and illustration of the site offered. OFFERS SHALL BE RECEIVED BEFORE OR NO LATER THAN FEBRUARY 27, 2004. The submittal shall meet the above initial minimum requirements stated herein and shall contain the following documentation in order to be considered further: • Location description • Boundary survey with a metes and bounds legal description • Phase I Environmental Site Assessment • An up-to-date title policy with all supporting documents • Current zoning classification • Offering Price Owners may submit their own proposals. Proposals submitted by agents must be accompanied by documentary evidence of the agent’s authority to make such offers. This advertisement is not a basis for negotiation, and the right is hereby reserved as the interest of the Government may require, to reject any or all offers and give consideration to sites other than those offered in response to this advertisement.
