- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. FHQ04Q00076 is being issued as a Request for Quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-23. The National American Industry Classification System code is 333313 with a corresponding size standard of $6.0. The U.S. Department of the Treasury, Financial Management Service (FMS), 401 14th Street, SW, Washington, DC, 20227, intends to award a sole source purchase order utilizing simplified acquisition procedures and provisions and clauses for Commercial Items to EAM-Mosca Corporation, 675 Jaycee Drive, West Hazleton, PA 18202. EAM-Mosca, will provide: (5) Traymaster Strapping System USP-2, 10' power roller infeed conveyor, (5) 3/8" roller dial. 15" overall width. 13" long rollers, complete with supports and (1) side guide, 3/60/230 VAC, include photo eye and magnetic contractor. Includes 10' gravity roller exit conveyor (1 3/8" roller dial. 15" overall width, (5) Auto strapper model ROMPS, (10) PALLETS OF Strap coil #PP5040w240 and maintenance for the machines. Machines will be delivered to the following locations: (2) for Philadelphia Financial Center, 13000 Townsend Road, Philadelphia, PA 19154, (1) for Kansas City Financial Center, 4241 N.W. 34th Street, Kansas City, MO 64117, (1) for Austin Financial Center, 1619 E. Woodward Street, Austin, TX 78741, (1) San Francisco Financial Center, 390 Main Street, San Francisco Financial Center, 390 Main Street, San Francisco, CA 94105. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commerical Applies to this acquisition; FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items is hereby incorporated by reference. The government will award a commercial item purchase order using simplified acquisition procedures to the responsible offeror whose offer is most advantageous to the government. The offers will be evaluated on the basis of system requirement supportability, past performance, and price. FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. FAR 52.21-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items. Addenda to 52.212-4 include: FAR 52.217-9, Option to Extend the Terms of the Contract (Mar 1989); -FAR 52.222-37, VETS 100 Compliance Report. The clauses may be viewed at http://www.arnet.gov/far. FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial items applies to this solicitation. Past performance surveys can be obtained from Evelyn J. Daval, Contract Specialist. Offers are to be received no later than 10am, March 4, 2004. Delivery should be with in 30 days after Receipt of Order, (A.R.O). Responses must be in writing and must be received within ten calendar days of publication of this notice. Responses must include the Representations and Certifications and the VETS 100 Compliance Report.
