Description
This is a request for information / sources sought announcement to identify potential sources and gather information on current capabilities within the market. The Air Force Metrology Calibration Detachment is considering a purchase of an automated calibration system consisting of rack & stack TMDE capable of calibrating Thermal Voltage Converters (TVCs). The Thermal Voltage Converter (TVC) Calibration System will be used by the Air Force's Precision Equipment Measurement Laboatories (PMELs) to calibrate the thermal voltage converter workload. The calibration system will calibrate thermal voltage converters ranging from 0.5 Volts to 3 Volts at frequencies of 100kHz – 100 MHz. It will include components such as an AC Source, a DC source, a broadband amplifier, two nanovoltmeters, a GPIB programmable switch, a system controller, a printer, an electronic cabinet enclosure, and various cabling and accessories. The system controller will control the instruments over the IEEE 488 bus. The TVC calibration system will include all items necessary to perform the calibration of thermal voltage converters to the necessary parameters. The estimated quantity is 8 units.Offerors responding to this sources sought market research must (1) state whether they are a small or large business. (2) indicate if they are a small disadvantaged or woman-owned business, 8(a) firm, or a historically black college or university or minority institution (HBCU/MI), or a historically underutilized business zone (HUBZone) small business; (3) advise if you have the item on a GSA schedule (4) provide information concerning the technical capabilities of the product you are interested in offering, including commercial literature/brochures.
