Description

DTCG87-04-Q-643064. Provide construction services for miscellaneous projects at the flag quarters in Juneau, Alaska. Provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and other incidentals to complete these projects. The work includes; Demolition, removal, and replacement of existing exterior wood deck and railings. Demolition, removal, and replacement of existing carpeting, (approximately 2100 square feet) on first and second floors. Prep and paint exterior, including wood siding, doors, soffits, and trim. Prep and paint interior walls and ceilings. Work will occur between May and August 2004, when residence is vacant. Contractor will be given four weeks notice prior to start of work, to assemble his materials, and will then have a four week performance period. The estimated cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. This procurement is issued as a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236118 and the applicable size standard is $28.5 million dollars in annual receipts for the past three years. All responsible small businesses may submit a quote. This solicitation will not be issued in paper form. Solicitation documents, may be accessed for download from the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website beginning on the date of issue (estimated to be on or about 25 February 2004) at the following site: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Any amendments issued to the solicitation will be posted on this website. Prospective quoters are responsible for checking the website for amendments up to the date and time quotes are due. The technical data package (specifications and drawings) will be available only through a link in FedBizOpps to the Federal Technical Data Solution (FEDTeDS) website. Firms must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database and FEDTeDS database to be able to access the technical data package. A planholders list will not be available for this project from CEU-Juneau. Vendors are encouraged to register their interest by entering their information in the Interested Vendors List for this solicitation in FedBizOpps. Telephone requests will not be accepted.
