- Description
- The U.S. Army Soldier Systems Center has a requirement to provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to renovate offices in Building 3, Kansas Street, Natick, Massachusetts 01760. The renovation work shall be done in two separate stages, P hase 1 and Phase 2. Phase 2 will commence only when Phase 1 is one hundred per cent complete. Renovation in Phase 1 includes, but is not limited to, removal and replacement of existing ceiling, lighting, carpet, asbestos containing vinyl coated tile, asbes tos containing wallboard, fan coil units, ductwork and hallway doors.The office is approximately 8,545 square feet. Renovation in Phase 2 includes, but is not limited to, removal and replacement of existing ceiling, lighting, carpet, asbestos containing v inyl coated tile, asbestos containing wallboard, fan coil units, ductwork and hall doors.The office is approximately 3,436 square feet. The NAICS code for this procurement is 236220. The small business size standard is $28.5 million. This procurement is se t aside 100 per cent for Hub Zone contractors. The government envisions the use of a firm fixed price contract. The magnitude of the project is between $700,000.00 and $900,000.00. Drawings will be available at the site visit to be held on 15 March 2004. P erformance will be at the U.S. Army Soldier Systems Center, Kansas Street, Natick, MA 01760. Period of performance anticipated to be six months. This requirement is subject to the Davis Bacon Act.
